Some pretty messy seas recently but when we have been able to go offshore, we’ve had some great wildlife sightings. We’re still regularly recording common dolphins and harbour porpoises, most often feeding on all the bait fish in the area. Some rare seabirds were also sighted including storm petrels and a great skua. Barrel jellies still very much present in Falmouth Bay as well as more bluefin tuna! At one point in this video you can see around 15 common dolphins all bow riding at once.
+-85 Common Dolphins, including calves, mostly large feeding groups, 13 Harbour Porpoises, Giant Bluefin Tuna, feeding among some common dolphins, 4 Storm Petrels, 1 Great Skua, lots of Gannets, lots of Manx Shearwaters, Fulmars, Mediterranean Gulls, Peregrine Falcons, Barrrel Jellyfish
