June 4th & 5th

June 6th, 2019

A lack of fins in the past couple of days but lots of seabirds to be seen offshore, particularly the tiny storm petrels, and we are noticing that barrel jellyfish have been coming closer inshore with the tides recently. Peregrine falcons are being spotted quite consistently now in their nest sites on the cliffs which is lovely as there was a while when we weren’t seeing them at all.

25 Storm Petrels, 5 Sandwich Terns, lots of Manx Shearwaters, Fulmars, Gannets, Kittiwakes, Guillemots, Razorbills, 4 Peregrine Falcons, Barrel Jellyfish
