Love these photos taken by Brenda on Sunday, especially of the tiny common dolphin calves, a great start to September! We recorded over 200 common dolphins during our morning trip as they hunted and soared through the waves around us below a large work up of diving gannets. We also saw an Arctic skua harassing and chasing a poor Arctic tern for its food like the pirates of the sea that they are. Manx shearwaters were seen in large numbers almost everywhere offshore and a dozen harbour porpoises with calves were seen feeding in the afternoon.
