Choppy conditions yesterday but that doesn’t mean there’s no wildlife to be found! A 22 ft minke whale popped up beside Free Spirit, as it fed among a large aggregation of porpoises and gannets. We have recorded high number of harbour porpoises in the past couple of days, with around 70 individuals in one area yesterday. Hundreds of diving gannets formed a work up spread out over a mile, fairly close to shore, which could be seen from a huge distance away. Along the coast we had some lovely encounters with a few grey seals as well as a couple of our beautiful peregrine falcons.
