Unfortunately the sea conditions were far too wild to head offshore into Falmouth Bay due to strong southerly winds, so for the first time of this year we happily spent both trips exploring our wonderfully wildlife rich and diverse Fal Estuary. Fallow deer were spotted on both cruises as well as Curlews and a variety of other wading birds. On the first trip we observed a grey seal feeding on a cuttlefish and we were delighted to record our first osprey for the year in the afternoon!

1 Osprey circling above the Fal River, first for this year, 5 Roe Deer, +-35 Fallow Deer, several groups in the fields above, 2 Atlantic Grey Seals, one feeding on a cuttlefish, +-20 Curlews, Egrets, Herons, 28 Mediterranean Gulls, 5 Shelducks, Oystercatchers, 2 Ravens
