The strong easterly winds have prevented us from going out to sea in the last couple of days so we have enjoyed exploring our wonderful, sheltered Fal estuary and recording an incredible deiversity of wildlife including ospreys, kingfishers, deer and a great white egret. And turns out we don’t need to go offshore to find dolphins! A small pod of 5 common dolphins were seen surfing the waves right in Falmouth harbour, perhaps on the way to their weekly Trago Mills shop.
