Incredibly yesterday we recorded three basking sharks offshore including this WHOPPER of a fish, easliy over 20ft in length and with a huge dorsal fin! There have been several more sightings along the south coast in the past couple of days which is lovely to see. The two sharks we recorded were approximately 15ft and 17ft and we had a sea surface temperature of just over 12°C. We also recorded a great diversity of seabirds including several great northern divers, lots of guillemots and razorbills, and around 30 Manx shearwaters.
