A beauty of a day and a trio of cetacean species on Sunday! We spent almost the whole day right offshore, making the most of the conditions, and recorded an high sea surface temperature of just over 18°C. Our first Risso’s dolphins that we’ve seen in a little while were spotted, showing up clearly as bright white in colour, as well as a lovely minke whale and three harbour porpoises. We also caught the Falmouth Classics Parade of Sail as we headed out in the morning which is always quite a spectacular sight.
1 Minke Whale, 15 ft, 3 Risso’s Dolphins, 3 Harbour Porpoises, two different interactions, 5 Atlantic Grey Seals, Manx Shearwaters, Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Guillemots, Razorbills, Gannets, including lots of juveniles
