We’ve had great encounters with common dolphins on all trips in the past couple of days and are starting to see large hunting workups offshore consisting of mostly gannets and shearwaters which will be feeding on all the bait fish we’ve been recording recently. Both guillemots and razorbills can be seen flying into their nesting ledges carrying sandeels to feed their chicks and lovely to see the peregrine falcon pair back at their original nest site. Sea surface temperatures almost hitting 19 degrees in places!
80 Common Dolphins, hunting and bow-riding, inshore and offshore, 32 Atlantic Grey Seals, 100s of Manx Shearwaters, lots of Gannets, large workup, +-200 Guillemots, including 3 bridled, lots of Razorbills, 1 Swallow, 2 Peregrine Falcons, male and female at nest site, 2 Ravens
