Some awesome wildlife sightings over the weekend with common dolphins, harbour porpoises and giant bluefin tuna sighted on both days. Large feeding frenzy of gannets, dolphins and tuna made the sea erupt with white water and is always so exciting to observe and some of the tuna were real buffaloes, much larger than the commons! Three species of shearwater were recorded on Saturday; a couple thousand Manx shearwaters as well as Balearics and sootys, and we were delighted to spot Cornwall’s resident common seal around the Roseland Peninsula on Sunday. Barrel jellyfish are still in Falmouth Bay and were happy to come up to the surface over the sunny weekend.
